New Faster iMacs launched by Apple along with the long awaited Magic Trackback
Apple launches the long-rumoured Magic Trackpad along with the new & faster iMacs.
Specification as revealed by Apple:
The new iMacs run on Intel's latest processors, Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7. According to Apple, the processors provide up to a 50% increase in processing power over the previous generation.
The 21.5-inch iMac starts with a 3.06GHz i3 processor and ATI Radeon HD 4670 discrete graphics with 256MB GDDR3. The high-end 27-inch 2560x1440 resolution iMac comes with a 2.8GHz quadcore Intel Core i5 processor and ATI Radeon HD 5750 discrete graphics with 1GB GDDR5, and costs $1,999.
Custom built to order facility is also available which includes a 2.93GHz quadcore Intel Core i7 processor, a 2TB hard drive, 256GB solid-state drive (SSD), and up to 16GB of RAM.
The much awaited Magic Trackpad, a multitouch input device for Mac desktops that allows users to have the same type of gesture control that they use on iPhone and iPad. The device has a glass surface and an aluminum case. The device has already craeted a buzz among Mac users and who have been waiting for a long time to use it.
