HTC Wildfire S Smartphone launched in India for Rs 14,700 | HTC launches Smallest Android Phone in India

HTC launches its smallest ever smartphonein the wildfire range the Wildfire Smartphone. The Wildfire S smartphone measures just 10.13 cm long and 5.94 cm wide, with a 3.2 inch touchscreen whichc produces pictures at 320 x 480 resolution. It is being launched in two colours, dark grey and silver white.

The operating system being Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a 600 Mhz processor with a RAM of 512 MB.

Features of the HTC Wildfire S:

> The HTC Sense user interface is further enhanced to include a new integrated online e-reading experience. A new e-book store powered by Kobo and a new, offering the ability to highlight, annotate and quickly search for definitions or translate unfamiliar terms.

> A 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, which is also capable of recording HD videos. One can also edit images with a lot of exciting camera effects.

> HTC Locations has an upgraded online mapping experience, people can have instant, on-demand mapping without download delays or incurring mobile roaming charges.

> An expandable microSD memory slot and support for a variety of audio and video formats.

> The Wildfire S connectivity involves: standard micro USB, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and internal GPS antenna.




> The Wildfire S has a 1230 mAh battery which provided 360 hours of standby time on 2G and 570 hours on 3G as well as up to 7 hours of talktime on 2G and 5 hours on 3G.

The highly anticipated Eee Pad Transformer by Asus has been official launched in Australia as a tablet solution for both media consumption and mobile productivity.
